I love baking and I always try to come up with new recipes. One of my quick favorites are macaroons. I just love how simple it is to make the macaroons and usually like to add a little extra twist & dip them in chocolate.
Usually I use dark chocolate just because I like the herb taste of the chocolate mixed with the sweetness of the coconut. I use this simple recipe Just let the macaroons cool before dipping them chocolate.
For the Ganache I mix chocolate (semi-sweet or bittersweet) and heavy cream and heat it in a small saucepan over medium heat.
I am obsessed with macaroons! especially ones covered in chocolate!
