Birchbox - a monthly beauty surprise

I have been a Birchbox customer since last year and I've became a big fan after seeing a review of it on youtube. I usually receive great samples and get the chance to try out new things I haven't otherwise been able to because we all know good beauty products can be expensive, especially when you want to buy a lot & everything.
If you haven't heard of Birchbox, it's a $10 monthly subscription service that can be canceled at any time. Every month you get 4-5 deluxe high end beauty samples like Nars, Laura Mercier, Blinc, OPI & many more. The products are anything from nail polish to skincare products. It's a great way to try out new beauty products before buying full sizes. If you love Make up and skin care products you will definitely love it!

I've received my December Birchbox last week, which was a nice surprise because Boxes are usually shipped around the 10th. The last couple of boxes had great samples but unfortunately this box wasn't as good.
I think the Jouer Lip Gloss is pretty good but I'm a person who always loses stuff in my bag (of course I have to have the biggest bag out there) so this one will definitely get lost. Until then I will try to use it as much as possible.
Overall I'm a little disappointed this month. Maybe I just expected more or different things from a December/holiday box but I'm hoping the next one will be better again & even though this one wasn't one of my favorite boxes I can definitely recommend subscribing to Birchbox.

    $10 is a great deal, but you're right. Those samples do look a little small.

    I just signed up for Birchbox in early December and was told I would get my first box in January. I was bummed, however after reading your post, I'm kind of glad. But feel badly for you.

    Hey Suzy,
    sometimes they're out of boxes & that's why you can't get the December box anymore. I think I had to wait & didn't get it right after I've signed up. Let me know how you like the box once you'll have it. :)

    Usually the samples are bigger so I'm hoping for better ones next month.

    I didnt get the porefessional i really wanted that sample. I got a face wash instead. :-(

    Maybe you'll get it in another box. They usually repeat the products.
